Annasaheb Awate College has 41 years of history as the flagship of higher education in Manchar.

The College offers a three tier package, beginning with the Junior college that caters to students passing out from school. Comprehensive courses are offered in all three streams - Arts, Commerce and Science, preparing students to launch out into professional courses or else continue on towards graduate studies in the Senior College.

At the Senior college, students can work towards a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in a range of subjects spanning Languages, Social Sciences, History or a Bachelor of Science degree in  subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and Electronic Science.

Post-Graduate degree courses are also offered both in the Arts and Commerce streams.

A sprawling 100 acre campus provides space for residential facilities, library, sports, games and cultural facilities which contribute to the well rounded development of a more than 1500 strong student population.
